Check out the new info from EA regarding prospects in NCAA Football 2011.

As you many of you have already guessed, there is a new ratings spread in NCAA Football 11. Youll no longer see dozens of players at 99 OVR in this years game when looking at the rosters we ship with. Hence, we had to ensure the new Prospects created in Dynasty Mode matched the new philosophy. The Prospects have been re-created… every single one of them. The reason being is we wanted to ensure that all positions in the game had its share of elite players, multiple types of players, and an even spread from top to bottom.

Presentation Getting a Face-lift in NCAA Football 11

EA is definitely going to great lengths to improve the presentation in this year’s game. They’ve already announced “ESPN Integration“, and now have announced the addition of pregame entrances. This is nothing new for the franchise, which had the exact same feature in previous generation games, although it looks like they have put a bit more effort in this time around. They have included more details, such as how Ohio State players interlock arms as they head for the field. I’m getting more and more excited about this game. July 13 can’t get here soon enough.

New NCAA Football 11 Info

The NCAA team has been working to improve the run game in NCAA 11. They have created “Real Assignment AI” which basically changes the way offensive linemen block. The o-line will even double-team d-linemen when appropriate. I really hope this improves the CPU running game, which has pretty much been a problem for as long as I can remember playing the series. Check out the video which compares last years running game to NCAA Football 11’s.

“Fight Club” came out 10 years ago next month. I re-watched it this weekend and, like the great film that it is, it still holds up. It’s as relevant today as it was a decade ago.

Yes, society’s consciousness toward terrorism is different (and if the movie came out today, they’d probably go a different direction than having Project Mayhem blow up a bunch of financial buildings at the end). But the messages, the visuals, the story, the art of “Fight Club” — all still perfect.
